Getting Rid of the Accursed Thing

In this weeks Torah Portion, Vayishlach, Bill Cloud discusses the importance of getting rid of the "accursed things" in our lives. We cannot allow ourselves to hold on to idols, no matter how we picked them up. There is no justification for idolatry. We need to learn from Rachels death and get rid of the idols now. "There is something that is getting ready to happen, the world is changing. The last thing we want to happen is for someone to have to be buried on the side of the road, just as we get to that point."
