Do Not Despise the Word of the Lord

God tells Moses to send leaders to spy out the land, but most bring back a fearful, slanderous report. This portion warns us not to despise God’s Word or doubt His promises. The ten spies spread fear, but Caleb and Joshua stood firm with a different spirit. When we let fear speak louder than faith, we miss our moment. Shelach reminds us that obeying God fully, trusting His voice, and encouraging others is the way to inherit His promises.
