Trembling at the Word | Bill Cloud

We understand that as we count the omer in anticipation of Shavuot, we believe God gives us our daily bread in every way. He gives us our physical sustenance we need but also our spiritual bread for that day. We are to bring a freewill offering. It is representative of how the Lord has blessed us. In Judaism, they believe that the nation of Israel came into being at Sinai. In fact, from there the Kingdom of Heaven began to break forth (Paratz). In this day and age He continues to work through us and in us to bring forth His will. If that doesn’t happen, the problem isn’t on His end. In fact, sometimes God has to intervene in the affairs of men to advance His purpose for His people. It’s typical that, what was so vivid and important to one generation tends to lose its ability to impact people in the same way as time goes by. We, as the older generation, must honor and respect His Word by living it out in such a way that our children feel the impact of His Voice the same way we have. It is my prayer that He continues to speak to us and we continue to listen to Him. May His voice continue to thunder in our spirit and render miracles in our life.
