Planted by Rivers of Living Water

Sep 30, 2023    Bill Cloud

During this time of year we are rehearsing for the time when the King of Glory returns with power and authority. A time when He will make all enemies His footstool and rules and reigns from Jerusalem forever and ever. We are commanded to rejoice during this time, not as a conditional suggestion but as a command. Regardless of how are lives look in whatever state, we are to rejoice during Sukkot and give special attention to our King. Those who come to honor our King during this time will get watered. Sukkot is connected with the life found in water. Those who are thirsty will find refreshment. Those who are hungry will be fed. In the days of the temple (during Sukkot) water was poured upon the alter to symbolize the presence coming forth from Jerusalem to all nations. The Living Water going forth is what He desires for us to grow, to flourish and to carry out what He has called us to do and accomplish. Yeshua said that every tree that doesn’t produce fruit will be cast into the fire. We don’t have to allow the things of this world to cause us to wither up and die. We have a source of life and is found within His presence.
