Living In Exile
This portion explores key concepts about living in the last days, particularly in a time of restoration, even while in exile. As Genesis concludes, the deaths of Jacob and Joseph are recorded, both passing in a foreign land. Yet, the portion is called Vayechi—“And he lived”—a reminder that true life is not bound by earthly circumstances but by God’s eternal purpose and promise of restoration.
Shabbat Shalom Jacob's Tent family! We hope you've all had a peaceful week. As we are all snowed in here in Tennessee, please join Bill and Brandon Cloud for another special studio broadcast of this week's Shabbat service. Be blessed!
